These are my three pieces of work in the end of year show.

Our show has now moved, and been put up in the Student Union at Canterbury College.

The Shows back at College!

We have now packed up at the shop in Canterbury and moved back to College! Where we are now based in the Student Union area, where even MORE of our work is being exhibited as well as our main A1 piece. The show now is even bigger and better, and there is much more of a range to see. It will be there for the next week or two. Come down and check out our work from the past two years.

Portfolio Building

I had to build a portfolio to take with me to my University interviews, some required a full portfolio of work, whereas others required a small portfolio of specific types of work, or an online portfolio.

My portfolio was A2 sized and portrait.

I included my best work in my portfolio, and a range, with development and experimental showing of how the finals were produced.

I had to take a portfolio to my Canterbury College, London College of Communication and Southampton Solent interview.

CC and LCoC asked for full portfolios of work, whereas SS requested a portfolio of 12 pieces of work.

Hattie Stewart Inspired Doodle

After the Pick Me Up 2013 Exhibition I have been heavily influenced by the artist Hattie Stewart. I have really been loving her work and her style of illustration.

This is an example of Hattie Stewarts doodling.

I have produced my own doodle inspired by Hattie Stewart, which I went on to use as MTP within my Final Major Project.

Pick Me Up Exhibition

For the FMP trip, and our last trip of the course we visited London. Espeically to Somerset House to the PICK ME UP 2013 exhibition. I really loved this exhibition and its one which I wouldnt mind going to again. I discovered so many new artists, designers and illustrators I'd never heard of and saw so much influental modern amazing work.

Chinese/Japanese Brush Painting

In the first year, and within our Ethnic Art casestudy, we experimented with Chinese/Japanese brush painting, their materials and style of illustration.
